GlobalGiving are celebrating #givingtuesday this year by launching their Christmas Giving Campaign

The campaign kicks off on #givingtuesday (29 November) and ends on 31 December, and offers a 50% match on all donations raised by through by their charity partners. All registered GlobalGiving UK charities can join the campaign and use the match funds released on #givingtuesday as an effective donor incentive.

There will be £20,000 matching funds and £4,500 worth in bonus prizes. GlobalGiving UK will be matching donations by 50% until matching funds last. That means for every £100, another £50 will be added. In addition, GlobalGiving will add 25% Gift Aid on all eligible UK donations.

How does match funding help?

A £12 donation will mean that three school children can attend secondary school in rural Uganda. or three pregnant women in India can receive a tetanus immunisation. This campaign offers a great incentive to people wanting to make a bigger impact with their giving this year.
