Generosity Week: 1st – 5th December 2026
Give what you can.
Volunteering and giving are two sides of the same story: people choosing to show up for each other.
2026 is the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, the UN’s global spotlight on the power of volunteer action. GivingTuesday on December 1 begins a five-day journey to International Volunteer Day on December 5, making this a unique moment to celebrate generosity in all its forms.
Generosity Week, a collaboration between GivingTuesday and the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE), is an invitation to give your time, skills, or resources alongside people in more than 100 countries who are building stronger communities together.
