What is it

How does it work?

For you

On Giving Tuesday we want you to do good stuff for your favourite charity or cause. You can give time or expertise, monetary donations large or small, simple acts of kindness, food, clothing, books or household items. How you support your favourite cause is totally up to you! Anyone, anywhere can get involved and give back in a way that’s meaningful to them. There’s no minimum or limit to how people can do good.

For your organisation

All types of organisations are welcome to participate. From schools to non-profits to small businesses, corporations, and more! While Giving Tuesday is celebrated on 3 December, your campaign can be much longer than one day.

Take part in Giving Tuesday and you’ll be joining some of Britain’s biggest brands, charities and celebrities, as well as thousands of people in the UK all doing good stuff for charity.

Sign up today and together we can make a world of difference.

History

Giving Tuesday, the global day of generosity, arrived in the UK in 2014. Since then the day has gone on to become one of the UK’s biggest days for charities, raising millions of pounds for good causes.

On Giving Tuesday people around the world come together to give back. What started as a day in the USA, has quickly grown into a worldwide celebration of generosity and our shared capacity to give.  Giving Tuesday takes place in over 70 countries around the world including the USA, Canada, Russia, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Australia and Brazil.
