Tell your MPs about Giving Tuesday
The Chartered Institute of Fundraising have created a guide and template letter so you can contact your local MPs to help support this campaign and the work charities do for local, national and global causes.
It’s really easy to write to your MP. MySociety makes it simple through its free
online submission service, meaning that you can reach out to your MP in a few quick steps. These include:
- Go to Writetothem website
- Enter your postcode and click ‘Go’
- Select your MP or local councillors from the list
- Write your message into the form fields provided, or use our template letter we have shared above to write your message, and send
Alternatively, you can find the details for your MP and send the letter. Please ensure that you include your charity’s address so that your MP will know you live or work in the constituency.
