This Christmas, online fundraising platform Work for Good are giving small businesses the opportunity to have their donations doubled, making a bigger difference to the charities and causes they care about.

Work for Good is an online fundraising platform which helps small businesses donate to charity through the sales of their products and services.

With built in legal permissions; the platform solves the barriers that surround business giving and enables businesses to start donating within minutes.

For the second year running they will be running a match funding campaign which has been made possible thanks to generous donor RitMir Ventures Limited.

There are almost 500 charities including Tommys, WWF-UK, Friends of the Earth, Plastic Oceans and WaterAid who use the platform and will have the potential to benefit from this campaign.

Donations made via Work for Good will be matched up to £500 per business on a first come, first served basis from midnight 1st December – midnight 31st December 2019 or until the point the matched funds have been allocated.

Last year the campaign raised a total of £35,000 for charities, averaging a donation of £350 per small business.

Co-founder of Work for Good, Danny Witter said:

“With charities receiving only 2% of their income from businesses, we’re excited to give the business community an opportunity and an extra incentive to take action, have their donations doubled and be able to support a cause close to their hearts.”
