Elements Talent Consultancy hosts charity pop up event with Topshop

Excitement was in the air as racks and tables full of clothes were out on display for a Giving Tuesday pop up event in Camden last week.

On Friday, top trending tech talent consultancy Elements raised over £150 after hosting a pop-up shop featuring latest-season Topshop clothes and donations handed over by staff, to raise money for their charity partner Camden Giving.

The event was buzzing, with a crowd quickly gathering ready to peruse through the clothes.

Elements had thought of everything- there was even a Giving Tuesday-themed cake that people could come and enjoy for £1 a piece.

Grace Coffey, partnerships manager at Camden Giving, said: “Elements have been a huge support with kickstarting our Giving Tuesday campaign. We are raising money to support local youth services and tonight’s a great example of how local businesses can get involved in supporting the local community.

“Giving Tuesday is all about everybody getting involved in some way, whether that’s a bake sale, a fashion show, a pound and a coffee – there’s no excuse why businesses can’t get involved.”

Alicia Richardson, a talent research partner from Elements, said: “We host activities year round for Camden Giving and really believe in their cause and can see the positive impact they make on the community.

“We hope to host another pop-up in the new year as well so watch this space.”

About Camden Giving

Camden Giving works to tackle local inequality by connecting people who live and work in Camden.

Money raised during their Giving Tuesday campaign will fund a range of youth services which could include boxing clubs, mental health support, and employment engagement for local young people.

Outside of the pop-up shop, the charity is coordinating a variety of activities with other businesses including yoga classes, bake sales, match funding and evening cocktails.
